Wedding - Ahreum and Myron

Myron is one of the oldest friends I know.  In fact, his dad and my dad were friends when they were our age now.  So it was a tremendous priviledge to have the opportunity to take some images of Myron and his beautiful bride, Ahreum.  After getting ready at Myron's house, we headed out to San Francisco City Hall for the ceremony, my first time there.  I had heard it was nice inside, but never realized how gorgeous it was.  Ahreum was simply elegant with her knee length wedding dress which I adored.  Myron seemed a little nervous, but he made it through with the poise of a career tribute(for all you Hunger Games fans out there).  These are just some informal images, but it was a fun day so I thought I'd post up a few.  They were even good enough sports to let me take a couple shots at night.  Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Yeung!

Wedding - Belinda and Carl Teaser

This past weekend I had the pleasure of documenting Belinda and Carl's wedding.  Belinda and I actually went to high school together and worked on the school yearbook.  That's actually the place where I first developed a love for photography.  Back then, we still used film and developed our own film in the school darkroom.  Good times...  So now it was an honor to see Belinda and Carl so happy and in love, here are just a couple of images from this weekend.  More to come, Congratulations Belinda and Carl!

How did I light this?

I was playing around with some stuff and testing some tethered shooting and came up with this image.  The light source actually surprised me a bit, can you tell what's lighting my face?  I'll give you a hint, look into my eyes...  The answer, after the jump

(On a side note, I sincerely apologize for subjecting you to such a close up view of my face.  I just wanted to get as close as I could to a pair of eyes.  And at 2am, my eyes were the only ones that were open)
